On the 14th February, 1-2pm, we welcomed Jimmy Hipperson from Coastal Villages Practice to further capture and share their Innovation Award from October 2018 for Addressing Problematic Polypharmacy - Highly Commended - GP and Practice Clinical Pharmacist Opiate Reduction Clinic Project.
Jimmy presented and shared their experience of reducing high dose opiates in patients with chronic non-cancer pain. Jimmy talked about the success stories as well as the lessons learned.
The presentation was followed by a Q & A session.
