  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click 'Forgot password?' underneath the 'Password' box
  3. Enter your email address in the popup window and click 'Submit'
  4. We'll generate and email you a new password you can use to login
  5. Once logged in you can change your password by clicking on the 'Profile' button on the top right-hand side

For security reasons we lock accounts after a number of invalid login attempts.

Sometimes we are unable to automatically approve accounts and need to perform a manual check. If you have received a message to this effect, please email us.

Please note that every 12 months we run a cleansing operation to remove dormant accounts that have not been used during the last year. If you've not used your account for more than a year, you may need to follow the steps above.

Please also note that e-learning is completely separate from our main website. Just because you have an e-learning account, does not automatically mean you have a website account.

The e-learning platform and main PrescQIPP website are separate entities.

Most of our resources require you to log in.

If you see a notification that you do not have the correct access level, you need to ensure that you are registered under a subscribing organisation. Please note that even if your organisation subscribes to PrescQIPP, access to Rebates and ICS Dashboards are determined by subscriber leads.

When you login to the website, we automatically log you into our data visualisation platform 'Tableau'. However, sometimes this can fail and you'll be prompted to login to Tableau when you try and view a visualisation.

The cause of the failure is usually because your browser refused our cookies. We suggest the following to fix this issue:

  • Check to make sure your browser isn't set to refuse all cookies
  • Check to make sure you haven't explicitly set your browser to deny cookies from the following domains:
    • www.prescqipp.info
    • data.prescqipp.info
    • prescqipp.info
    • *.prescqipp.info
  • If you're using Internet Explorer 11:
    • Add www.prescqipp.info, data.prescqipp.info and pdata.uk to your list of 'Compatibility View' websites
  • Try an alternative browser

NHS only email addresses

Please note that as a security precaution our website only accepts registrations from NHS and affiliated email addresses. We do not accept personal email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail etc). If you are using your work email address and believe we've made an error, please email us.

CSUs

If you work for a CSU we will need the subscribing organisation that you are supporting to confirm that they are happy for you to have access under their subscription. Please contact us for further details.
