On 4th November, 1pm - 2pm we presented the important new research to develop and evaluate a practice pharmacist-led intervention (PROMPPT) for people prescribed long-term opioids for persistent pain. Comprised of a toolkit to support delivery of personalised reviews and an associated pharmacist training package, PROMPPT aims to safely reduce opioid use, where appropriate, without making pain worse.
