The workshop will be facilitated by Jamie Hayes, leadership and performance coach, and pharmacist with thirty-years of experience in healthcare, behavioural change and medical education. Jamie comperes PrescQIPP's Annual Event and Awards and his energetic style will help to reinvigorate you, and approach challenges and opportunities with fresh insight and peer input.
The day is designed around delivering a wider appreciation of organisational psychology, equipping you with tools and techniques to help with cultural change, increased performance and improved medicines optimisation. This workshop is a response to a behavioural needs analysis rather than a training needs analysis. As such it shines a spotlight on workplace behaviours and decision-making and challenges current assumptions in healthcare.
It will be delivered in an energetic and interactive coaching and conversational style tackling issues that you will be invited to identify in advance (via a coaching questionnaire) as well as any that you bring for discussion on the day.
Themes that are usually covered include:
Feedback from previous participants includes:

'Thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend'
'Cracking session, more like this please!'
'The flexibility of the sessions was great - Jamie clearly knows his stuff and the ability to adapt the sessions to the needs of the room is a brilliant skill not often seen.'
'I learnt a lot all the way through the day, in particular behaviours and characteristics of a high performing team and what the team I am in is missing. Coaching skills and tips. I also identified how much I didn't know and have plenty of homework as a result.'
