On 1st February, 1-2pm, we welcomed Dr Julian Treadwell who is a GP and researcher with an interest in prescribing and polypharmacy.
His research has shown that GPs (as with most other doctors) have low confidence and understanding about the actual size or benefits and risks of harms for common treatments.
He is developing a new web-based information resource to help with this. He presented some research findings and held time for discussions, including exploring the role of pharmacists.
