These sessions will explain the background of the national genetic testing service, demystify the science, showcase real-world case studies, and provide practical guidance on using genetic insights to optimise medicines and improve patient outcomes.
A brief background on genomics informed medicines optimisation and introduce the NHS Genomic Medicine Service in England. Presenters will give detail on currently commissioned tests and examples in pharmacogenomics, genomics in infection and precision medicines.
