Launched - updated Managing medicines in care homes: e-learning course 3

This e-learning course is designed to support care home staff involved in medicines administration and covers some more complex areas. It replaces the 2019 version of the course.

This updated CPD certified course is comprised of six modules:

1. Medicines and falls risk 
2. Antipsychotic medicines in dementia
3. Administration of oral anticoagulants
4. Administration of methotrexate and other cytotoxic medicines
5. Administration of bisphosphonates
6. Administration of medicines used in Parkinson's disease

Two case studies support the learning, plus references and further reading are also provided.
